Reacting to the news of the death of the former President, Governor Nwifuru noted that Buhari was a towering figure whose life was marked by selfless service, discipline, and an undistracted commitment to the unity and progress of Nigeria.

” From his first appearance on the national stage as Military Head of State in 1984 to his return as democratically elected President in 2015, President Buhari consistently embodied integrity, courage, and simplicity—values that endeared him to millions of Nigerians . ”

“For us in Ebonyi ‘State, President Buhari was more than a national leader. He was a partner in development and a friend to our people.”
