2027: Student Body Endorses Yayi As Ogun Governor

The National Association of Political Science Students, Ogun State chapter has thrown its weight behind the 2027 Governorship ambition of the Senator representing Ogun West at the national Assembly, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi)

Speaking at a Press Conference held at Iwe Iroyin, Abeokuta the President of the Association, Comrade Florence Badejo said Senator Adeola’s track record in the delivery of good governance, competence, compassion, and consistency serves for the reasons for their endorsement.

She described Senator Yayi’s leadership style as embodying the principles of true democracy and expressed their belief that his vision and leadership would drive progress and development in Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.

Badejo also expressed gratitude to Hon. Akeem Oluseye, who she described as a philanthropist and builder of men, and his continued contributions to student welfare, affirming that he is a beacon of hope to students and a leader who can be emulated.

According to her” The pursuit of a more prosperous and equitable society requires visionary leadership, purposeful direction, discipline and a commitment to continuity.

As scholars of Political Science and stakeholders, we are trained in the philosophies of governance, public policy, purposeful leadership and nation-building”.

“Today, we rise as concerned citizens, lovers of Ogun state and Nigeria, also custodians of tomorrow, unanimously endorsing a leader whose track records speak of his achievements in governance, competence, compassion, and consistency-Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI).His leadership embodies the principles of true democracy that we explore in our lecture halls and bring to life in our various communities”

“We believe that Senator Adeola’s vision and leadership will drive progress and development in our state and nation. It will reposition our dear state in the committee of states in Nigeria. As scholars and patriotic citizens, we pledge our support for his initiatives and endeavors. We will give every support to the cause of his emergence, and climbing the podium of leadership in our state”

Present at the conference were: Vice President Salawudeen Moruf, P.R.O, Comr. Pacheco Ayonide Temidayo, Comrade Paul Victor Offiong and other members.
