The National Association of Political Science Students, Ogun State chapter has thrown its weight behind the 2027 Governorship ambition of the Senator representing Ogun West at the national Assembly, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi)
Speaking at a Press Conference held at Iwe Iroyin, Abeokuta the President of the Association, Comrade Florence Badejo said Senator Adeola’s track record in the delivery of good governance, competence, compassion, and consistency serves for the reasons for their endorsement.
She described Senator Yayi’s leadership style as embodying the principles of true democracy and expressed their belief that his vision and leadership would drive progress and development in Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.
Badejo also expressed gratitude to Hon. Akeem Oluseye, who she described as a philanthropist and builder of men, and his continued contributions to student welfare, affirming that he is a beacon of hope to students and a leader who can be emulated.
According to her” The pursuit of a more prosperous and equitable society requires visionary leadership, purposeful direction, discipline and a commitment to continuity.
As scholars of Political Science and stakeholders, we are trained in the philosophies of governance, public policy, purposeful leadership and nation-building”.
