The National President of the Movement for the Survival of the Izon Ethnic Nationalities in the Niger Delta (MOSIEND), Dr. Kennedy Tonjo-West, has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Pa E.K Clark, describing him as a blessing to the Ijaw Nation and Nigeria.

Speaking at the lying-in – state and commendation service in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Dr. Tonjo-West praised Pa E.K Clark’s unwavering commitment to defending the Ijaw people, fighting against oppression and marginalization.

He noted that Pa Clark’s love for Nigeria’s unity was remarkable, despite the country’s historical injustices against the Niger Delta region.

The MOSIEND president emphasized that Pa E.K Clark’s legacy is unparalleled, stating that his impact is felt daily, described Pa Clark as fearless, bold, and resilient, with a passion for humanity and a commitment to keeping Nigeria united.

Dr. Tonjo-West suggested ways to immortalize Pa Clark, including naming a street, federal university, or airport after him and urged the Ijaw Nation to continue living by Pa Clark’s sayings, legacy, and courage.

The MOSIEND president acknowledged that Pa Clark’s demise would leave a significant vacuum but expressed faith that God would raise another leader with similar qualities to continue his work.
