The national leader of Action Democratic Party, Hon. Ola Shokunbi has described the death of Chief Ayo Adebanjo as a collosal loss to the entire nation and Yoruba race in particular.

Hon Shokunbi, a former Governorship candidate of ADP in 2023 general elections said Pa Adebanjo who was a Chieftain of Afenifere, and an unrepentant progressives, till his demise remained a strong advocate of fairness, equity and justice.

He said the vacuum left behind Papa Adebanjo will remain unfilled based on his contributions to Nation building.

As one of the most prominent disciples of Papa Obafemi Awolowo, Chief Ayo Adebanjo lived a fulfilled life, and his end was very glorious.

Hon. Shokunbi prayed that God should console the loved ones he left behind, saying that his death has dealt a very strong blow to the Yoruba nation.
