As the Local government elections draw nearer in Ogun State, the APC Vice Chairmanship Candidate in Yewa South Local Government, Hon Sheriff Olanrewaju Bankole on Thursday 31st October, 2024, held a crucial meeting with former councilors in the Local Government area at Elyssam Hotels in Ilaro in a bid to foster unity in the forthcoming Local Government election in Yewa South.
Hon. Sheriff Olanrewaju Bankole, a former Leader of the Legislative Council and Councillor representing Ilaro Ward 2 in Yewa South Local Government in the Year 2012 to 2015 under the Administration of Late Hon. Safiu Abiodun Odebiyi, while addressing the League of the Councillors in the Local Government area, enjoined them to embrace unity and they should not leave any vacuum for the opposition party to gain ground
Hon. Bankole then appealed to them to campaign for the All Progressives Candidates across all wards, units and deliver all the candidates in the elections
Hon Sheriff Bankole appreciated the Governor of Ogun State ,Prince Dapo Abiodun CON for supporting one of the Ex Councillors to become the Vice Chairmanship Candidate of APC in Yewa South and some other Local Governments
Present at the meeting , are former councillors across the 10 wards in the past 16 years and APC leaders in Yewa South Local Government
