A socio political group, Egba Yewa Awori 2027 Agenda has called on all those aspiring to govern the Gateway after the second term of the incumbent, Prince Dapo Abiodun to jettison the idea as the only qualify person to take over from the incumbent remains Senator Olamilekan Adeola a.k.a Yayi.
The group in an Open letter it addressed to the governor of the State, Prince Dapo Abiodun and made available to newsmen warned a former House of Representatives member, and 2023 PDP Governorship candidate in Ogun State, Hon Ladi Adebutu not to dream of contesting against Yayi as he would be politically sent into oblivion.

OPEN LETTER TO H.E GOVERNOR DAPO ABIODUN (CON)
EGBA/YEWA/AWORI 2027 AGENDA AND HOME COMING OF SEN SOLOMON OLAMILEKAN ADEOLA YAYI(FCA) (CON) : A WORTHY SUCCESSOR TO GOVERNOR DAPO ABIODUN (CON)
Your Excellency Sir,
(1) History was made in Abeokuta on Saturday the 12th day of October 2027, when our illustrious Son in Egba Land but ON LOAN to Ogun West and present Senator representing Ogun West in the 10th Senate visited his maternal home at Kemta-Odutolu in the heart of Itoku Adire Complex in Abeokuta to a tumultuous welcome by over five hundreds closed maternal family members and elders.
(2) The visit was rounded off with a visit to the Baale of Kemta, High Chief Ifalola Aregbesola at his residence where thousands of supporters gathered to celebrate his home coming with a smile of gratitudes.This is however an indication of a case study of whom God has blessed, the people receives and no one curse
(3) Present survey amongst the entire people of Ogun west has shown that the Yewa /Awori people and indeed the Obas, Baales and people of Ogun West has also accepted Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola as their beloved son who has justified their trust and acceptance in him through his numerous infrastructural revolutions within the last sixteen months (16)
(4) He is a worthy Son of Egba/Yewa/Awori and an outstanding undisputed legend &champion of unprecedented constituency projects revolution
(5) Your excellency sir, the entire indigenes of Egba/Yewa/Awori origins here by confirmed that Senator Olamilekan Adeola is of the Isaga-Yewa stock on his paternal side and Kemta -Odutolu of Egba Alake on his maternal side. Therefore all the political heavy weight from from Imeko -Afon, Yewa South, Ipokia , Yewa North and Ado -Odo Ota has gladly consented to the presentation of this Wonderful Son to you and the people of Ogun state as their Next Chief Executive
(6)Your Excellency sir, our reasons for writing this open letter to you is not far-fetched. First and foremost, I think before going into the detailed explanation. There is a need to commend your incessant and ceaseless effort in our dear state which is actually in tandem with the peculiar and fastest growing developing states in Nigeria.
(7)Therefore,making reference to your Excellency as an uncommon & unpredecented performer with long term developmental vision for our dear state in the likes attributes of the late sage Chief Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo is not an hyperbole.
(8)Your excellency have been able to convince everyone in our dear state and by extension in Nigeria that Ogun State is not as bad as what the people Negatively paints it. We are very confident in your continuous leadership without harboring self-centeredness.
(9)Your excellency have been able roll out a successful programmed in our dear state that had laid a fundamental roles in the process of development. Your appointment as the chairman of the southern governors forum is based on merit and not mediocrity, following the massive project/development initiated by your administration in a no time as as follows;-
(1) Gateway Inland Dry Port
(2) Massive Housing projects
(3 Industrial revolution
(4) Numerous road projects across Ogun State
(5) Construction of Health cares center
(6)Ogun State designation as frontier for Oil exploration,meaning we are becoming oil producing state.
(7) Breaking 21-Years jinx by flagging off construction of 70 km Abeokuta Ota Roads
(8) Minimum wage of N77,000 in Ogun which takes immediate effect
(10)With this just (8) highlighted exemplary performance out of the numerous achievements of your Excellency, every sane individual will know that you are really building in the future for all of us in Ogun State which can only be sustain only by a quality and qualified EGBA Son who has demonstrated such capacity through his massive constituency projects that has set a record in Ogun State and which will take so many years to equal
(11)We the Egba’s/ Yewa and Awori home and abroad expresses our deep and profound appreciation to your Excellency for bringing out such an illustrious Son to represent Ogun West even though on Loan as no Senator living or dead has achieved such unprecedented feat in Ogun West since the creation of Ogun West
(12).,Your excellency Sir, a state like Gateway State can only by governed, guided and bequeathed to a tested and trusted person who will continue with your transparent legacy and give back the dividends of democracy to our people and not political hirelings & spent forces, perpetually lame giants and docile political bystanders notoriously known for seeking what was beyond them as exemplified in their woeful loss even at their pooling units during the last 2023 Governorship Election in Ogun State and now struggling to capture the converted trophy.
(13)Your Excellency sir, It is with our utmost desire that we wish to reiterate and to present to you an Illustrious Son of Egba Land Sen.Solomon Olamilekan Yayi who has been endorse for the coverted throne by our Royal Father Kabiyesi Alake of EGBA LAND appointed Baale of Kemta Land, High Chief Ifalola Aregbesola
(14)It’s an undisputable fact that previous ogun west Senators like Senator Johnson Adebayo Odebiyi (Snr), Senator Ayo Otegbola(1992 to 1993) , Senator Afolabi Olabimtan, (1999 to 2003), Senator Iyabode Anisulowo (2003 to 2007), Senator Felix Kolawole Bajomo ( 2007 to 2011) , Senator Odunsi Akin Babalola(2011 to 2015) , Senator Joseph Dada (2015 to 2019) and Senator Tolulope Akinremi Odebiyi (Jnr) ( 2019 to 2023) have all made their marks but Sen Olamilekan ADEOLA has successfully build on the legacies of all his predecessors by creating more opportunities to make live more abundant for his people.

(27)Your Excellency Sir, A monumental development has been laid by you and witnessed across all sectors in the State. The creation of employment opportunities for all certified youths in various disciplines is your priority.
(28) It should be noted that professional ability is tantamount to judicious accomplishment. Therefore, our state can only be handed over to a man with the same sense of reason and continuity and not any pretending political paper weight from wherever because no Senatorial District has that capacity other than Ogun Central and the Man whom the Cap fit Distinguish Sen Yayi
(29) Sen. Solomon Yayi is the only man who has tremendously and ceaselessly contributed his own fountain of experience to the peoples qualitatively at diverse levels of political participation in the state.
(30)The Establishment of the Federal University of Technology, Ilaro, Ogun State. The bill already passed by the Senate (Red Chamber) has passed First Reading in the House of Representatives preparatory for concurrence by the Green Chamber.

(38)We here by give a Red Card to Hon Oladipupo Adebutu or any other aspiring person from Ogun East Senatorial District as the only visible and viable option for continuity of Governor DAPO ABIODUN CON administration is Sen Olamilekan Adeola YAYI who is the best option for the two Senatorial District of Ogun Central and Ogun West
