A 48-year-old man simply identified as Okafor has been stabbed to death allegedly by a prostitute, Joy Kelvin, who he brought to his home in the Jakande area last night October 6.
Men of the Ilasan police division received a complaint today October 7, from a man that his friend, Okafor, was reportedly st@bbed in his house at the Jakande housing estate in Lekki.
According to the complainant, the deceased was rushed to the General Hospital, Marina where he was pronounced de@d by doctors on duty.
The police immediately visited the scene where the suspect was immediately taken into custody.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the General Hospital morgue in the Yaba for an autopsy while efforts are being made to locate the family members of the deceased.
