A man identified as Fatai Mogaji, has been caught after he allegedly k!lled his ex-girlfriend, Opeyemi, in Lagos.

Salient Times reported that the suspect has been on the run after he allegedly st@bbed the deceased multiple times.

According to the sister of the deceased, Opeyemi reunited with Mogaji, on July 10, 2024, at a club in the Ikorodu area of Lagos state and they went to chill together.

At about 5am, they got into an argument and Mogaji allegedly st@bbed Opeyemi 22 times in different parts of her body.

The sister, who confirmed the latest development in a post on Monday, August 5, said the suspect was caught in a bar in Ikorodu and has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba.

“Good evening Friends, My sister’s k!ller (Fatai Mogaji Abdulsalam) was caught last night at F1 Bar Ikorodu by well-wishers and Ope’s friends. He has been moved to Panti Police Station,” she wrote.
