The Federal Capital Territory, FCT Police command says its operatives have arrested one Nuhu Ezra of Gosa Kipikipi village, Lugbe, Abuja with a human skull and bones.

The command’s spokesperson, Josephine Adeh disclosed this in a statement she issued and made available to Newsmen on Wednesday.

She said the suspect was arrested on Tuesday by operatives of the command attached to the Iddo police division after credible intelligence.

The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO said upon interrogation, the suspect confessed that he picked up the body parts from the bush while hunting at Kuje, stating that he had the intention to sell them for N600,000.

According to the statement, the FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth Igweh has ordered that a thorough investigation be conducted to ascertain the bearer of the body parts and the intended buyer.

The investigation is also to ascertain if the suspect “killed anyone to be in possession of the body parts, and how long the suspect has been in the alleged business”.

The CP urged residents to be wary of their environment and report suspicious activities to the police
