In recognition of his impressive leadership, the Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre Idi-Aba Abeokuta, Prof Adewale Musa-Olomu has been conferred with the Most Outstanding Medical Director of Federal Medical Centres in Nigeria Award

In a Press Statement signed by Segun Orisajo, Head of Information & Public Relations, Federal Medical Center, Abeokuta, said the colourful event which took place at the National Merit Award House Abuja was organized by African Stride International Media Limited and attended by creme de la creme of the Medical Profession in Nigeria.

Presenting the award plaque to him, the Chairman of the occasion who is also the Executive Director, TETFUND Arc Sonny Echono lauded the unprecedented achievements of the Medical Director in the Centre since assumption of office.

He described Prof.Musa-Olomu as a man of courage and vision “who by all standards merit the award”

Honoured along with the Medical Director was the Vice Chancellor , Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo Prof.Innocent A.O. Ujah

Highlight of the occasion was the official launch and presentation to the public the latest publication of the African International Magazine.

In appreciation of the feat, the Management of the hospital and various unions and associations have sent Congratulatory Messages to the Medical Director.
