Gunmen have kidnapped Alhaja Seliat Raji, a sister to Barrister Ahmed Raji, a philanthropist and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in Iseyin, Oyo State.
The victim was abducted at her residence at about 8pm on Thursday evening, May 16, 2024.
It was gathered that the masked gunmen also slaughtered the security guard manning the house before storming the sitting room where their target was watching television.
Eyewitnesses who spoke to journalists said the armed kidnappers arrived at the residence on a motorcycle but left the scene in their victim’s Lexus car.
A member of the Raji family who confirmed the incident said the kidnappers have made contact with the SAN.
“They have called SAN and made their points clear. They want a ransom but they have not stated the amount. Everyone is now in panic,” the source added.
