The Chairman of Middlebelt Forum (MBF) Dr Bitrus Pogu has asserted that immediate past Governor Samuel 0rtom is great son of the soil who made waves also outspoken noting he did well during his two term as Governor of Benue State.
The MBF boss who spoke as the chairman of occasion of Ortom at 63rd birthday celebrations of former Governor Samuel Ortom held on Tuesday at intercontinental college in Makurdi, Benue State.
He stressed during his leadership made concerted efforts in fighting insecurity to an extent he was denied access to the presidency for always raising eyebrow of visiting genocide by suspected Fulani militia against his citizens.
The MBF boss implored that 0rtom demonstrated peculiar leadership approach he was always brunth in telling former president Muhammadu Buhari that Fulani herdsmen were killing his people.
While he champion rotational presidency, if the the North are down in their tenure let rotate to the south west or South East giving instance of current dispensation insisting he speardded for it.
He revealed that 0rtom was firm in fighting against genocide for his people including entirety of North Central emphasising he was committed towards ensuring his defence and beyond.

In his remarks immediate past Governor Samuel Ortom expressed gratitude to the secretary to the Government of the federation SGF Senator George Akume for his representative capacity extolling his deeds as excellent virtues as pledging his unalloyed support to the SGF .
He stated am beneficiary of SGF Senator George Akume magnimity when he supported him massively to become Governor between 2015- 2023 .
Similarly same gesture is visited on Governor Hyacinth Alia advicing him sheathe his sword against SGF Senator George Akume.
He reocured this is the first time were producing such calibre of person in Federal Government hence democratic rule debuted in the country.
According to him, I feel elated with the crowd imploring all of you have made my day as it demonstrated not alone even when i left public service, stressing honesty you have made me elated.
