Governor of Benue State Rev.Fr Hyacinth Alia has eulogise wife of former head of state, General Sani Abacha, Dr. Miriam Abacha for her magnanimity as demonstrated towards sending delegation of eyes specialist to Benue State consult free patients with eyes and ears treatment in the State.

Governor Alia while declaring open free eyes and ears consultations for patients suffering severe ailment at his country home Vandeikya local Government area of Benue State, explained that sometime early this when he visited kano State on official engagement decided to paid homage to the former first Lady Mrs Abacha during the interaction the specialists were attending to patients she implored at appropriate times would come and assist people with eyes challenges in the State.

According to the Governor Alia this magnanimity as demonstrated by the former first Lady whereby eyes specialist were sent faraway from kano State to come and avaail patients free consultation and treatment on ears and eyes problems free of charge is worthy of commendation.

Speaking further reiterated saying the excesise has begun in his local Government for those patients with eyes challenges insisting it is necessary to kick start with his kinsmen:

” Giving an instance in Tiv vernacular if you’re insane which resulted to madness first of all supposed to set ablaze your compound before others “.

He averred that It is calculated attempt to bring the excessive to his kinsmen to feel the impact and appreciated the gesture by Mrs. Abacha..

” the turn out was impressive with these Humanitarian gesture offered to the state by former first Lady we remained grateful urging observers to extend heartfelt for the support in area of health delivery.
