Residents of Makurdi, the Benue State capital are groaning for been thrown into darkness in the face of new tariff increment.
Many customers spoken to by our correspondent in,Benue State raised concerns as they find it difficult to run business in the state as result of absence of power supply since ninth April 2024 in the State.
When contacted, head corporate communications of Jos Electricity Distribution Company, Dr Friday Adakole, explained that the outage is as a result of technical issue arising from VT/CT barracks road feeder,
He noted that efforts are being intensified by TCN, who are working round the clock to ensure the fault is rectify at it’s a mother station.
According to him, these technical expertise are trying to do total turn around by replacing those equipments that are faulty which led to the collapse of total power supplier.
In his comment on the upgrade reiterating sooner the entire systems will hooked on 330kva National grid for enhance development in the State.
I,m optimistic that it might not be long again to addressed this problem pervading assuring it would be solved within the week.
