Gabriel Suswan Eyes PDP Chairmanship Seat

Former Senator representing Benue North-East Senatorial district Senator Gabriel Suswam has indicated the desire to run for National Chairmanship of major opposition people’s Democratic Party PDP in the country.
Senator Suswam in recent interview made his intention known at the caucaus of the party’s secretariat in Makurdi, Benue State.
During the onset of democratic rule in 1999 Suswam was elected as house representative representing Katsina-Ala, Logo and Ukum constituency at the National Assembly. And successfully completed two different tenures.
However in August 2014 Gabriel Suswam elected as Governor and served two terms tenure which expired 2003.
Subsequently relocated to the senate from Benue North East Senatorial District and served two until last year’s general elections with tsunami that greeted the broom revolution he was floored at the polls by Barrister Emmanuel Udende currently occupied the zone on the ticket of All Progressives Congress in the region.
Therefore it is the desire of Dr Gabriel Suswam to aspired for the championship the plum job of the opposition party in the and sought support of critical stakeholders to enable him win.
In recent times former Governor Gabriel Suswam met with relevant stakeholders including immediate past Governor Samuel Ortom, former president of the Senate, Senator David Mark, and host of others.
