Overwhelmed with the high level of political solidarity that Silas Onu enjoyed when he was Publicity Secretary and Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Ebonyi State, Ebonyians in Asia asserted that the PDP Senatorial candidate for the Ebonyi South By-election of February 3rd, 2024 remains a political idol at State and National icon who deserves to be followed and supported in the upcoming election.

Speaking exclusively to Newsmen, the pragmatic Spokesperson of Ebonyians in Asia, Igboke Chidara, said, Silas Onu knows his ways when it comes to Adovcancy and who has an interest in Ebonyi South as a whole at heart. Igboke stressed that Silas Onu is capable of attracting projects that can attract the attention of a sitting President and other World Leaders for Commissioning

Igboke described Silas as a fighter who will not stop at anything until he gets what rightfully belongs to the masses, stressing that he exhibited when his mandate was stolen as PDP DC cool his SEC members.

“It is not easy for someone at Silas Onu’s age at the time he was Publicity Secretary and PDP Chairman to enjoy the level of solidarity and goodwill from stakeholders and high profile personalities of his Party across the State.”

Igboke who declared that Silas Onu is ever determined and ready to deliver greater dividends of democracy as a Senator if elected, hinted that Ebonyi South will witness true representation.

He appealed to Ndi Ebonyi South Senatorial Zone irrespective of their political party to vote for Silas Onu which he opined would enable the Senatorial District to enjoy a facelift and gain laudable programs and projects he has outlined to be accomplished.
