Dr Elechi described the appeal court Judgement that affirmed the decision of the tribunal as legendary and in consonance with the will of the generality of the citizens of the state as demonstrated in the ballot.

The Abuja business mogul remarked the judgement is fair and praised the judiciary for doing justice in the matter stressing they have once more hold unto their creed as the beacon of democracy.

He called on candidates of the opposition parties in the last general election to close ranks and support the governor to bring dividends of democracy to the state

“It is time to close ranks and bury the hatchet, I call on the contesting parties to drop their reservations and support the governor to bring dividends of democracy to the state”

“We can’t win everyday. What is most important is the development of the state which is imperative that the governor is not boxed to any kind of distraction so that he can focus on the business of governance ” he further said.

He opined “His Excellency, Rt Hon Ogbonna Nwifuru already has started on a good footing with all manners of transformational policies and this by judgement, he will be relieved of some burdens to concentrate on the good works he is doing”
