Southeast Governors, Ministers Drum Support For Re-election Of Hope Uzodimma

At the 11th November 2023 Governorship election in Imo State, the Governors and Ministers from Southeast Region has declared total support for re-election of His Excellency, Sen.Hope Uzodimma as Governor of Imo State
While they also plead passionately for the usual kind understanding of the good people of Imo and southeast in general to follow the path of National mainstreaming for maximal democracy dividends
This was contained in a statement signed and issued to Newsmen on Wednesday, in Abakaliki by Chief Press Secretary to Hon.Minister of Works, Barr. Orji Uchenna Orji
Orji disclosed that the incumbent Governor of Imo State and Chairman South East Governors’ Forum and Chairman Progressives Governors’ Forum is seen by the electorates as an asset of Imo State and indeed South East considering his performance which outweighs previous administrations, his capacity and competence in the handling of local and national matters , and his contact and influence in national affairs.
He explained that the people of Imo State are of the opinion that they cannot gamble with the huge opportunities created for development in Imo State under Sen. Hope Uzodimma.
“The good roads now in Imo State, the new face of the capital city, the progressive change in the social-economic history of the State and the fact that he is currently the Chairman of South East Governors’ Forum and also Chairman APC Governors Forum are considerations that are counting in his favour.”
He further noted that the leaders of South East, the Governors, Senators and Ministers from South East are firmly behind the re- election of Senator Hope Uzodimma. To them, Sen. Uzodimma is an asset to Imo State and South East in general.
“The leaders of South East and such as Hon. Minister of Works, Sen Engr. Nweze David Umahi are sensitizing South East people especially in Imo State on the gains of voting for APC Governorship candidate in the coming election and supporting the Renewed Hope administration of the President, Sen. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”
He expressed hope that with this understanding, the coast is clear that Sen. Hope O. Uzodimma will cruise in victory in the 11th November, 2023 Governorship poll
