Honourable Minister Of Works Sen . David Nweze Umahi has urged Imo State and South East to renew their hope in the agenda of All Progressives Congress (APC), in order to benefit the equitable share of national Development

In a statement signed by Hon. Minister of Works Sen. Engr Nweze David Umahi on Friday, he urged all the people of Imo State to support APC at all levels and vote for the APC Governorship candidate, Sen. Hope Uzodinma in the coming Governorship election on 11th November, 2023

“In view of the benefits we have so far received and by so doing, we can be sure that the coast is clear for our equitable share of national development. “The upcoming Governorship Election in Imo State is a test case”.

According to Umahi “It is through this wise decision to vote for APC at all levels that our leaders can record greater stewardship for our people and attract more dividends of democracy from the Renewed Hope administration of our dear President, His Excellency, Sen. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,GCFR, a rare national leader who has renewed the hope of South East towards inclusiveness and national identity through the appointment of our people in sensitive sectors of national development, especially the appointment of the current Chief of Naval Staff and the Minister of Works”.

“And we hope Mr President will do more for our people in moments ahead. Let us heed to this clarion call for national mainstreaming and arise and shine in APC”

Umahi, therefore expressed hope over resounding victory at the polls for Sen. Hope Uzodinma

“Imo State prides with men and women of high intellectual acumen. I have no doubt that they will strive to consolidate on the gains of belonging to the government at the centre which is the dream of people who want the best for their State.

“I wish my dear brother, Sen. Hope Uzodinma a resounding victory at the polls as I assure him of the considerations of the esteemed regards and best wishes of my family, the management and staff of the Federal Ministry of Works.” Umahi said.

Umahi also Congratulates Governor Hope Uzodinma for the abiding testimonies of the APC Government’s
transformation leadership and inspirational motivations brought in development and sense of actualization in Imo State since he came on board

According to Senator Umahi he said “The good people of Imo State under the APC leadership of His Excellency, Sen. Hope Uzodinma CON, have continued to receive numerous developmental benefits which will enable them harness their potentials for sustainable economic development”.

“Re-election of Sen. Hope Uzodinma CON is therefore necessary for him to deepen the transformation of the various sectors of the economy which is already on course”
