Police Kills 1, Arrests 3, Suspected IPOB/ESN Camp Shrine Destroy In Ebonyi

Ebonyi State Police Command have arrested two suspected IPOB/ESN who engaged gun battle with security agencies leaving one dead at Ekeagbebor Isu In Onicha Local Government Area Ebonyi State
The IPOB/ESN camp/shrine was completely destroyed during the operation by Security agencies
In a statement signed and issued by Police Public Relations Officer, Onome Onovwakpoyeya, she confirmed that the incident happened on Wednesday, at the entrance of the camp, the IPOB/ESN hoodlums engaged the team in a gun battle and in the ensuing gun duel, one of the IPOB/ESN member was shot and was fatally wounded, while others escaped with various degrees of bullet wounds.
The two others who were however arrested are; Emmanuel Chinedu ‘m’ aka Patho Aged 26yrs and Paul Ani ‘m’ aka Osah Aged 38yrs.
PPRO further disclosed that the police of the command in a joint operation with military and other department of state service who stormed at IPOB/ESN Camp and during the ensuing gun duel one of the police operatives sustained bullet wound injury on one of his legs and was rushed to the hospital where he is responding to treatment and recuperating.
According to PPRO stated that the IPOB/ESN camp/shrine was completely destroyed during the operation.
In same vein , Police Public Relation Officer, on Thursday, stressed that one chidi chukwu ‘m’ aged 31yrs, a member of the IPOB/ESN was arrested by members of Agba community in Ishielu LGA of Ebonyi state when he was trying to flee the community and was handed over to the police.
Therefore, PPRO noted that the Commissioner of police is using this opportunity to appeal to all hospitals, traditional medicine homes, chemists and all Ebonyians to report anyone seeking medical attention with bullet wounds injuries to the nearest police station.
Furthermore, the Commissioner of Police, Ebonyi State Command, CP Augustina Ogbodo psc, is using this medium to warn criminals to either desist from crime or relocate from the state as the Command is working round the clock to ensure that anyone terrorizing the State is arrested and brought to justice.
