Ogun: Sodubi High School Old Students Association Felicitate former principal at 91
Old Students Association of Sodubi High School Onikolobo Abeokuta 83/84 set was part of Pa Francis Fakorede’s 91st birthday celebration at his resident Onikolobo Abeokuta.
Members of the association were led by its President Dr Suleiman Olatunji Eniola to wine and dine with their former principal after 40 years of departing the School.
The Association members converged earlier at Royal Esteem Hotel Ijeja Abeokuta where they held an inaugural meeting where other executive members were elected.
Pa Fakorede, the host could not hide his joy and happiness seeing his students of 40 years ago who are successful in their chosen careers among them are Professors, Doctors, Accountants, Principal Retired Headteachers, lawyers and many more.
The occasion could be likened to Jacob’s experience after seeing his beloved son Joseph who they taught had died.
Highlights of the event include songs of praise, testimonies, prayers and gifts presentation.
Other executive members are Professor Kunle Adeogun as the Vice President, Taiwo Amusa as General Secretary, Toyin Okunronmu to serve as the Assistant Secretary, Adeyemi Idowu as financial secretary/ treasurer, Mrs Bamgbose welfare and Isiwat Bakare as the Social Secretary/ Chief Whip.
