2023: Ogun, Oyo ADP governorship candidates meet, talks on campaign strategies
The Ogun State governorship candidate of Action Democratic Party, ADP, Hon. Olanrewaju Kazeem Sokunbi and his Oyo state counterpart, Hon. Akim Yusuf on Friday met in Ibadan and strategises on ways to wrestle power from the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, led governments
Making this known in his facebook page, Hon. Yusuf said the meeting was held with other party leaders from the two states to discuss on mega rallies for the South West Zone of Nigeria.
“Yesterday I hosted my brother, the Gubernatorial candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) Ogun State, H. E KAZEEM OLA SOKUNBI, his Deputy, the state coordinator and other members of the Party in Ogun State in preparation of the forthcoming ADP southwest Presidential Campaign.
Speaking to Our Correspondent after the meeting, Hon. Sokunbi, Ogun State ADP governorship candidate said apart from the campaign strategy that was discussed, the two States also discussed on the plight of the people in assessing new naira notes and emphatised with them.
We discussed on the plight of our people in exchanging their old naira notes to new ones and called on APC led government both at the Federal and State level to look for ways to ameliorate the burden the people goes through daily.
He said unlike APC and PDP governments, ADP led government if elected promised to transform the economy of the Nigeria and restore the excellence that the country is known for.
Sokunbi urged Nigerians to vote for a candidate with high capability to transform the Country and make life better for the people.
He said, “ADP promise to provide a leadership that will address your needs, transform the economy of Nigeria and restore hope to the people.
