British American University confers Labour Party Publicity Secretary with honourary doctorate degree

Labour Party national Publicity Secretary Comrade Abayomi Oluwafemi Arabambi has been conferred an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Politics and Corporate Governance by the British American University, Florida USA.

The decoration held on the Saturday November 19, 2022 at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta Nigeria was according to the President of the University in Nigeria, Prof. Muhammad Omolaja was done to recognize various roles the awardees have contributed to the development of the nation.
He said the University; primarily to imbibe the culture of creativity, innovation and imagination into the students with disposition for
life-long learning, research and entrepreneurial professionalism.
As a fully accredited American University, BAU specifically concentrates on matters of international education in conjunction with our partner
institutions from different continents including Europe, Asia, Africa, Americas, etc.

In his acceptance speech, Dr Arabambi expressed his happiness towards the huge recognition bestowed on him by the institution.
He said “I’m glad with the award of Honorary Doctorate Degree — Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) in Politics and Corporate Governance by the British American University Florida, USA.”
“I am elated to receive this Doctorate Degree in recognition of my contribution to the enthronement of quality Governance, Youth and Community Development in Ogun State and Nigeria at large, particularly in my capacity as the National Publicity Secretary of Labour Party.
“This is another motivation to keep delivering my best in corporate governance and service. My appreciation goes to the University for conferring this honor on me. As always, special thanks to all loyal members of Labour Party, our National Chairman, Barrister Julius Abure, our winning Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi, and friends, for believing in me so much and for being an exemplary model of good governance.”
